North Pond 365/360

"A picture is worth a thousand words...". As a "North-ponder" armed with a camera, I think I am among the people who have photographed the North Pond the most. I have been living in the Lincoln Park, Lakeview and North Pond area for the past twenty years. And every week or so I take a stride around the Pond and photograph anything that I find interesting: the views of the pond, the geese, the turtles, the squirrels... the people, all year round. This website is some of my stories in pictures.

It's nature at work and it happened at the North Pond right by the observation deck of the restaurant. Nobody spotted the event until I started photographing it. The hunter bird struggled to consume it's "food" in vain. It gave it up when the blackbird interfered.
