"A picture is worth a thousand words...". As a "North-ponder" armed with a camera, I think I am among the people who have photographed the North Pond the most. I have been living in the Lincoln Park, Lakeview and North Pond area for the past twenty years. And every week or so I take a stride around the Pond and photograph anything that I find interesting: the views of the pond, the geese, the turtles, the squirrels... the people, all year round. Walking around North Pond there are areas that deserve to be framed if you had a camera with you. It is not necessarily for a social media photo contest, but for its unique view including floating garbage bins that is typical for Chicago known for strong wind gusts. You said "Windy City"? For those who have been around the pond before 2019 you notice the playground that once was just west of the Restaurant. The palyground has been move North-East from the original location.
